Paul Vinson Noble, age 87, of Lewis Center, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2000 at Delaware Court Nursing Home. He was born November 14, 1913 in Marion to Orvie and Ora (Moore) Noble.
A longtime Delaware County resident. Retired in 1981 from the State of Ohio, Department of Natural Resources. Mr. Noble was a U.S. Army veteran, and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wilma (Wells) Noble; two sons, Bill (Carolyn) Noble of Lewis Center and Richard (Cheryl) Noble of Indiana; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two brothers Delphos and Cecil Noble and two grandchildren Jeremy and Trevor Noble.
Friends may call at BENNETTBROWN-RODMAN FUNERAL HOME, Delaware, Tuesday from 3-8 p.m., where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Africa Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed at graveside by Delaware County Veterans Association. Memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross in Paul’s name.
