Rodney S. Swagler, 79, of Delaware , died Friday in Grady Memorial Hospital . Born November 20, 1920 in Grove City to Samuel and Mary (Haughn) Swagler.
Army Veteran WW II. Farmer and retired from Game Management of The Ohio Division of Wildlife. Member Moose and Elks Lodges, and Raymond B. Austin Post of The American Legion. Avid golfer, bowler and horseshoe pitcher and member of Kilbourne Pitchers.
Survived by daughter, Rhonda Hutchinson; granddaughter, Dana Cramer; great granddaughter, Emily Cramer, all of Delaware brother, Jim of Sunbury, sister, Margarie Eakin of Grove City. Preceded by wife Geraldine, 1999, sister Leona Schlosser and grandson Jason Davenport.
Visitation Sunday 5-8 p.m. , ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME, Delaware , where service will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Pat Bruce officiating. Burial Green Mound Cemetery where the Delaware Co. Veterans Association will conduct full military honors.
