Smallies (13 & 14 inches) on the banks of the Yellowstone under the old wagon road bridge-Ft. Keogh, Miles City, Montana 6 Oct ’06.
Down to the river on the edge of town for two hours yesterday afternoon-caught my supper, lost 4 others (u/l spinning w/ 1/16 oz Blakemore Roadrunner). May have been the last short sleeve day of the year-76; 50’s today, snow on Wed- oh well. Next time I’ll be sittin’ by a warming fire on the bank fishin’ for walleye and sauger.
