Carl L. Mosley, Jr. of Venice, Fla., passed away Sunday, March 4, 2001. He was 74. Carl was born in Barberton, Oh., and moved to Venice in 1981, following retirement as Chief of the Division of Wildlife, Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of WW II, attended the University of Akron, Colorada A & M and received a B.S. degree in The Ohio State University.
He leaves his wife R. Elaine, with whom he was married December 17, 1949. He is also survived by son, Eric and daughter-in-law Janice of Goodview, Va.; son, Craig of Worthington, Oh.; sisters, Alice Mosley of Venice, Fla. and Delores Boldry of Barberton, Oh.; granddaughter Alaina Mosley; grandson Benjamin Mosley; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by by his brother, Harold Mosley and sister Dorothy Hurst. Carl was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 17, 2001, 10:30 a.m. at Ewing Funeral Home, Venice, Fla. Burial will be in Oh.
