Retired game protector and wildlife agent for the Ohio Division of Wildlife.
Preceded by wife Sara Jane Cooper in 1997 and son Stephen Cooper in 2002. Survived by daughters, Sylvia Eckles of Washington C.H. and Sandy Carrier of Waverly; son and daughter-in-law, Lowell Douglas and Sue Cooper of High Pint NC; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, James and Margaret Cooper of Washington C.H.
Funeral Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the KIRKPATRICK FUNERAL HOME in Washington C.H. Graveside service Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Beaver-Union Cemetery in Pike Co.
Visitation Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at funeral home.
