Helen Mason Minton, age 95, passed away October 21, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born July 7, 1918 in Vinton County Ohio to the late Levi and Lucy Mason and was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Minton, brother, Delbert Mason, sisters, Opal Hunter, Dorothy Remy and Gladys Harper. She is survived and missed by her sister, Emma Bentley and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was retired from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife and was a long-time member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star Corinthian Chapter #393.
It was her wish to forego a funeral service, but a graveside service will be conducted on Friday, October, 25th at 11 AM at the Locust Grove Cemetery near McArthur, Ohio with Pastor Laurie Clark officiating.
