Obituary for G.P. Honchul
G.P. Honchul of West Liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence, at the age of 89 years, 11 months, & 29 days. He was born Wednesday, March 31, 1926 at Caney, KY, son of the late Robert & Chloe Barker Honchul.
G.P. worked as a miner for the railroad, a musician, carpenter, cab driver, Dayton Steel, and Ohio Division of Wildlife as a manager of Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area.
G.P. was uni
ted in marriage to Mary Pombles. This union was blessed with one daughter and two sons, Debra Jane, Keith, and Gregory. G.P. was a retired manager for the Ohio Division of Wildlife.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Honchul and one sister, Genevieve Gilbert.
He is survived by his three children, Debra Jane Walko of Dayton, OH, Keith & Lillith Honchul of Athens, OH, and Gregory Honchul of West Liberty, KY; and one granddaughter, Kristina Elizabeth & John Napier.
