IRETA ROBESON

Ireta Robeson, age 63, of Kalamazoo, Mich., passed away on December 6, 2004 at Metron of Allegan.

Ireta was born on May 16, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Mich. the daughter of Pierson and Clayola (Simmons) Baker. She was a Graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School. She worked as a Fiscal Officer for the State of Ohio Division of Wildlife where she retired in 1993. After moving to Kalamazoo in 1994 she worked for Wings Stadium where she developed many friendships.

She married John Robeson who preceded her in death in 1971. Also preceding her in death is a niece Patty Danger in 1990 and her father, Pierson in 1996. Surviving is her daughter, Sharon (Todd) Robeson Blaylock of Mattawan; 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Treylee Blaylock; her mother, Clayola Bake; a sister, Sharon (Jim) Ireland of Scotts; 3 nieces, Cheryl (Steven) Kelley, Sue (Jim) Johnson and Julie Danger; several great nieces; great nephews; beloved cousins and extended family.

There will be no visitation or services as cremation has taken place. Private interment of cremains will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Sharon would like to give special thanks to Metron of Allegan for their loving care of Ireta.
