SCOTT Richard T. Scott, age 51, of Canal Winchester, Oh., Thursday, June 5, 2003 at his residence.
Graduate of Groveport-Madison High School in 1969, Ohio University in 1973. Teacher, Coach and Athletic Director at Groveport-Madison High School 1973-1981. Retired August 31, 2001 as Law Enforcement Administrator for the Ohio Division of Wildlife, Past-president of Midwest Wildlife Law Enforcement Association, and was an avid Turkey and Pheasant Hunter. Member of Groveport Masonic Lodge #240 F&AM.
Survived by his wife of 31 years, Connie (Ward) Scott; daughter, Jamie Jo Scott; mother, Mary Lillian (Bob) Green; brother, Ronald Ray (Cindy) Johnson; brothers-in-law, Robert “Cotton/Bob” (Martha) Ward, Scotty (Pam) Ward, Frank “Jr” (Cheryl) Ward, III; aunt, Martha “Bart” (James) Ratliff; nieces, nephews, great-niece and many special friends too numerous to mention. Preceded in death by his special uncle Carl Ratliff.
Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday with Pastor Fred Klopfer officiating. Interment Union Grove Cemetery. Masonic services 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
