WELDON Thomas F. Weldon, age 65, of Micanopy, FL, died on Saturday, July 31, 2004.

He was born on September 18, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Clarence E. and Madeline E. Gerling Weldon. He was preceded in death by his brothers Patrick Weldon and James Weldon.

Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman, served as a game protector for the State of Ohio for 17 years and was retired from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. He was a veteran of the Ohio National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. “Patty” Starrett Weldon; sons, Matthew Weldon of Jacksonville, FL and Christopher Weldon of Union City, CA; grandchildren, Spencer Tate Gammon and Jacob Abram Fielding; sisters, Susanne Curran, Mary Kay Weldon and Joan Weldon; and sister-in-law, Carol Weldon, all of the Columbus area; brother, Joseph (Donna) Weldon of DelRay Beach, FL; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 6, 2004, at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2004, at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, located on the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne, OH. Interment will follow.
