Timothy O. Tim Nagel, 74 of Urbana, Ohio passed away October 31, 2018 in his home.
He was born July 6, 1944 in Shelby, Ohio and was a graduate of Belmont High School, attended Wilmington College and Antioch College for two years. He worked for the State of Ohio for 30 years as the Superintendent of the London Fish Hatchery. As an avid outdoorsman he taught his children many life lessons that will be passed on for years to come. It was not unusual to hear Tim recall stories about his life at the hatchery, fishing trips to Minnesota, mushroom hunting, his respect for nature and animals and all of the many other adventures that he cherished.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve traveled each and every highway. Oh, and more, much more than this…I did it my way..
Tim is survived by his children, Tricia A. Nagel, Timothy Aric Nagel, Todd A. Nagel and Ashley N. (Adam) Nagel-Otterbein; 3 granddaughters and 6 great grandchildren; his brother William (Sandi) Nagel as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Justus W. and Maryann (Viers) Nagel. Services are entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com
