Walter Dare McGilliard, 90, Bradenton, Fla., died Oct. 6, 2005.
He was born Aug. 15, 1915, in Cincinatti, Ohio, and moved to the area, in 1978, from Findlay, Ohio. He retired as District Supervisor, with the Ohio Division of Wildlife, and served in WWII with the U.S. Army.
Walter was predeceased, in 1990, by his wife, Evelyn. Survivors include three daughters, Suzanne Jeffery (Ned), Milan, Ohio; Karen Stevens (John), Moore, S.C.; Rebecca Burns, Findlay; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; companion, Carolyn Swearingen.
Memorial Service will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association
